You know, what would really help is getting rid of "No Child Left Behind" and actually funding our schools. That would go a long way to correcting this issue.

Schools, from kindergarten to university, have dropped their standards to accommodate them, rather than hold them accountable to rise to the standard. Then they also have no respect for older generations so they don’t heed their advice. They brush them off and ridicule them rather than learn from them.

It feels like they they got rid of holding students back because the parents didn’t like how that reflected on them and their parenting skills. Not holding the kids back and letting them continue without a handle on the skills they NEED doesn’t benefit the kids.

No Child Left Behind → DEI → declining standards in education, personal responsibility, integrity, and work ethic → passed down to the next generation → a generational problem. And historically, many of these policies were championed by white Democratic politicians.
