Do not suction a newborn. Like ever. Their sinuses don't even open up for like a year. If they have a boogie, it's fine. Leave it. Ask your Pediatrician. they'll tell you the same thing

For all you mouth suckers. You are in the wrong. You don’t have the power if electric machine and you can get it in your mouth. Go electric. It’s life changing! We use a Nuvita one. It sucks ALL the mucus. I mean I’m talking a 24H mucus free baby. So no pesky infections at the “garden”. Yes she hates it. Yes it can be a 2 person job by my golly it’s gold! With the manual one we didn’t get it all and were limited by lungs capacity. I almost passed out once. Get the cordless electric. It’s life changing!
