John Pomeroy the producer of The Land Before Time… watched our animation… and loved it. I don’t say this lightly: this is one of the most important videos I’ll ever put out. We grew up studying this film. The emotion, the character work, the way it trusted its audience, it set a standard. And now, hearing directly from one of the people who built that legacy that our work resonated with him… it’s hard to put into words. In our interview, John talks about how The Land Before Time was made without the endless references we rely on today. No internet, no instant access — just observation, instinct, and a deep understanding of character. That’s how Littlefoot and the gang became more than dinosaurs. They became real. And that’s the takeaway that’s stuck with me most. It’s not about having every tool or reference at your fingertips. It’s about honesty in the performance. Clarity in the emotion. Believing in the story you’re telling. The fact that our Littlefoot project reached someone who helped define that philosophy… yeah, that means everything.
