I’ve always maintained that Rock Lee’s story is so much better than Naruto’s. The story of a normal human training and keeping up with basically superhumans. As he continues to train and get stronger (eventually becoming a superhuman) his abilities are now fatal when fully utilized, becoming a beautiful double edged sword. It makes for a much more compelling story, so much so that they recreated Rock Lee’s story into My Hero Academia (not officially, but My Hero is basically just the story of Rock Lee).
