@trial_trackers: Day 12 of the Lindsay Clancy trial included a significant admission about an investigative theory and an emotional end to the day during medical examiner testimony. State Police Sgt. Dan Lawlor confirmed investigators discussed whether a psychologist influenced Clancy before she told Patrick she had heard voices. On cross-examination, Lawlor agreed there was no investigative basis supporting that idea and described it as another investigator’s speculation. Perinatal therapist Latiesha Dukes also testified about Clancy’s anxiety, sleep problems and suicidal thoughts in December 2022. Dukes said she referred Clancy for more intensive treatment but never observed signs of mania or psychosis. Two hospital-watch witnesses then testified briefly before medical examiners Renee Stonebridge and Barbara Olson addressed findings from the children’s autopsies. Clancy sobbed during the medical testimony, leading Judge William Sullivan to call two breaks. At one point she could be heard saying, “I can’t do it.” Sullivan reminded jurors that emotion could not factor into their verdict. Clancy is charged with murdering her children, Cora, Dawson and Callan.
