it isnt necessary for decent pcs but for low end pcs yes it just makes ur system faster since it disables the animatons just make sure to enable "smooth edges of screen fonts" so the text doesnt look low quality

first one is ok but second is trash by manually setting amount of cores device uses you force windows to use all of them all time instead of using them when needed which can make your PC slower and consume more power

don't do the second one, your pc/laptop is already running at the maximum amount of cores by default and you're just limiting it, I got a blue screen and my pc didnt work for an entire week till I formatted it.

So the first recommendation was basic but it helps a little bit but the second recommendation is terrible can slow down your cpus and let the cpu only use a bit of its cores so i would keep the process number of processes option off so it runs on automatic js keep it on automatic
