My life, my life, my life. My 16yo is going to a new school in her mom's district. I, ME, did her enrollment. When needing to pick her classes, I was told to email her counselor. The counselor calls her mom, only to be told to talk to me. I get it, girl.

I put my kids step mom on paperwork before their dad lol I hate step moms gets treated the way they do by the majority (I’m a step mom and I’m the evil wicked witch of the west)

When i was with my oldest sons dad 2003-2007 his older kids lived with us. I filled out out the paperwork and did all the things. School/drs/everyone called me. Parent/guardian it’s all the same. We are the adults that take care of the kids. The kids called me mom. The kids mom would tell me to come get my kids when they got on her nerves (jokingly of course) even after me and dad broke up. No need to question anything. You know who you are and the babies know who you are.

i filled out the back to school paperwork for my stepson (its online now) and his school considers step parents as parents so all of my school accounts say "parent" 🥰 i became a step mom before i became a mom and HCBM likes to discredit my motherhood because of that

I get it!!! If the love is real it’s real! But I’m on the opposite end. He was married a few years before I was. I paid for everything and did everything. Alone as the bio mom. They acted like I was a horrible mother and she’s a saint. The only school supplies they ever got in over 10 years was when they got it free from their church. They never took them to school or anywhere else. Never paid for an activity. Oh and she didn’t wait 5 seconds to drop my daughters from the court ordered health insurance once her kids didn’t need it anymore. Acting like she was doing me a favor the entire time. We gotta be the villain in someone’s story I guess.
