I have to get my kids up at 5:30 in order to get one to Daycare, one on the bus, and the other to preschool, at three different locations, I actually have to clock in, and then take my kid to preschool, and cross my fingers that it doesn't become a problem. If I'm late for work, I pick up the youngest from Daycare late, and have to pay overtime to the Daycare provider. When I get my kids up at 5:30, they do not get up on their own. I have to pick them up out of their bed carry them downstairs and put them on the couch. And then I will gently ask them politely to get ready, even though they are completely capable, they do not. I have to physically dress the four year-old, and I do have to gradually raise my voice to the oldest. There are days that they do not move. They pull blankets over themselves, and they ignore my words completely. They don't move until I yell. Yelling wakes them up
