As the daylight fades, the storefronts begin to glow, restaurants fill with diners, and the sidewalks take on a relaxed, welcoming energy. For a tourist, it’s a great place to slow down and experience the city at a more neighbourhood-focused pace. Walking through the area, there’s a lovely mix of local shops, cafés, restaurants and beautiful residential streets. The evening light brings out the character of the older buildings and homes, while people stroll with friends, meet for dinner or simply enjoy the cooler air. It feels distinctly Toronto, but with a cozy village-like atmosphere that makes you want to keep exploring.
