My baby girl was born at 27w4d and had her cataracts removed at 6 months and 7 months (one eye at a time). And then had the implants put on at the age of 4 and she’s now 8. Just a little help from glasses since she came home and during her life journey and she’s thriving at 8 now!! You and your baby girl got this!!! Stay strong mama!

Aww my baby was born with bilateral cataracts. He is now almost 7. It was very stressful, but everything has worked out. I would recommend you join the Facebook group children with congenital cataracts. It has been such a great resource for me and tons of other families.
