Revelation 14:5 KJV describes those who truly stand before God’s throne: “And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.” Revelation 21:27 KJV gives us an even clearer warning: “And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie.” What God truly seeks is not people who are skilled at religious rituals, but lives that have genuinely been transformed. If someone says with their mouth that they believe in God, yet continues for a long time to live in deception, lies and darkness, then they need to seriously examine their faith. Please remember: We do not pursue holiness in order to earn God’s love. We pursue holiness because God loved us first, and we are willing to respond to Him with a holy and obedient life. Do not be satisfied simply with having the label “Christian”. If your life is still being lived in darkness, today is the time to return to the light.
