@prashu_ae: Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) The epic action-drama revolves around Shivudu (Prabhas), a free-spirited and extraordinarily strong young man raised by a secluded tribal community at the foot of a colossal waterfall. Compelled by an insatiable, lifelong desire to conquer the massive cliffs, Shivudu finally scales the summit after discovering a mysterious wooden mask that washes down the river. His journey takes a high-stakes turn when he encounters Avantika (Tamannaah), a fierce guerrilla warrior belonging to a resistance group dedicated to rescuing Devasena (Anushka Shetty), a former queen who has been cruelly imprisoned in chains for twenty-five years. Smitten by Avantika, Shivudu takes her perilous mission upon himself and infiltrates the grand, heavily fortified kingdom of Mahishmati, ruled by the tyrannical and ruthless Emperor Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati). As Shivudu staging a daring rescue of the captive queen, his path collides with Kattappa (Sathyaraj), the kingdom's intensely loyal slave-commander. Upon witnessing Shivudu's awe-inspiring valor, a stunned Kattappa falls to his knees and reveals a staggering truth: Shivudu is actually Mahendra Baahubali, the rightful heir to the throne. This revelation triggers a massive, historical flashback detailing the legendary exploits of his late father, Amarendra Baahubali, a beloved prince whose unmatched compassion, military brilliance, and ultimate betrayal left a fractured kingdom waiting for its true savior.
