for some reason, switching to a redstone torch in your hotbar causes an update, so it can be used like a wireless secret key or a one-time activator

As a redstoner i have never used torch burn out mechanics nor have i felt like it existing has negatively impacted my design. I have yet to find a situation where it’s necessary to exist in the system and i hope to find it someday

burnout clocks are perfect for barter farms. hook it up to 3 droppers filled with gold with 24 piglins (the limit without entity cramming) in a container. the time it takes for piglins to pick up the gold and drop the items is the exact same time it takes for a burnout clock to refresh.
