Pharma is very outspoken and hypocritical and that is all just for the investors pockets. In South Africa, according to our pharma regulator, a generic drug has to have between 80-120% of the active ingredient in. Now take the clinical trials being done on an originator with 100% active ingredient, now give a generic to a patient with just 80% of the active ingredient, is it still therapeutically effective? No. But it gets approved and put on the market, legally, without the therapeutic effect. I also have a big opinion about pharma, being in the pharma industry for 32 years. The sad reality is that, pharma has lost it's heart for the patient and is driven by die bottom line. It's all about the money. Whether the big R will be launched by Lilly or not, the aftermarket will still boom
