I had kids take food from the kitchen into the bedroom, which was tech not allowed BUT I never once even brought it up or judged. Now given this is teenagers through respite care so I didn't have them long-term or I would have worked with them more on this. Even if I had them long-term I would never lock up my food and I would always make sure they had access to something to eat. Although I did have a boy almost start a fire in my microwave, I learned I had to educate a little bit more than I thought I did with teenagers lol
