I’m making this video out of anger; I used to be the biggest bts fan back in 2017 up until 2024. I felt like myself when I would listen to their music and didn’t feel ashamed of loving myself just like they were teaching me to (supposedly). I have bought 4 of their albums (map of the soul: 7) and I am ashamed to see the way some of the members have turned out. I’m aware a good amount of kpop idols idolize usher and Chris brown for god knows what reason it may be, that doesn’t make it right. I’m making the video about BTS (J-hope & RM) because they’re part of a group I used to stan and literally obsess with. Going out of your way and taking a flight for a concert of an abuser and an abuser apologist is one of the lowest things you can do, especially when 90% of your fanbase is Women. I am disgusted to see J-hope and RM support this man who almost murdered somebody just because of an argument in the car, the fact that they took a picture and tagged him on their stories just shocks me… what did they think was gonna happen? That everybody was going to support them and not say anything about it???? Which in some cases, we do have people defending them because they can’t stand to see people hold their favorites accountable, it’s okay to admit that they were wrong. What shocks me even more is that they’re supporting a man who publicly showed his support towards Tory Lanez, the man who shot Megan Thee Stallion! the woman who collabed with BTS, the woman who some army’s joke around and ship RM with. I wouldn’t be surprised if Megan stops interacting with them from now on. I’m so disappointed, I have been giving them the benefit of the doubt in other cases but after seeing this..
