So many helpful tips! I use the craft tweezers that are bent at the end to hold my items I’m burning. I like my nails long and painted so I’m not risking my fingertips getting too close to the flame lol. I love the rolling paper idea!

My 4th great grandfather was from Scotland as well . But I have no idea how to make an alter for my Irish ancestors at the same time as my Mexican ancestors. When you give your Tabacco offerings to your ancestors, do you roll them into cigarettes and light them, so they can consume the smoke? Or just leave the tobacco as it comes? Thank you!
