you can layer them using soft light and create some crazy effects. check out peter mohrbacher if you wanna see a good tutorial on gradient maps.

If “cheating” in art was possible, I feel like gradient maps would ALMOST be considered that. Just because they’re a tool that’s SO easy and wonderful. Good thing art cheating doesn’t exist! Great work!
