Ok it is still illegal whether or not she was having a psychotic breakdown or not so it only matters if her defense team can prove if she was completely disconnected from reality completely and if they can the ruling can go three ways. Her feeling shame and self-harming afterwards, and attempting to jump like that out of sheer self-loathing, shows she knew right from wrong. Nevertheless, her actions were premeditated by sending her husband away to carry out her plan. Her defense won’t hold up, and anyone that supports this delusion of her not knowing what she was doing is part of the problem.
