@sara.gau: I’ve always talked about postpartum health and I’ll never stop 🤍 We talk so much about the baby, but we also need to talk about the mother. If you’re struggling mentally, please don’t convince yourself that it’s “just part of being a new mum.” You deserve support, care and help too. Your baby needs you, but you matter too 🫂 . . . . . . #ppd #postpartumdepresssion #postpartumjourney #postpartummentalhealth #youmatter
I can relate to this so deeply. Postpartum has been much harder for me than I ever imagined. I’m going through some really difficult complications, and sometimes I can’t even put into words how I feel. I’ve felt completely overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and exhausted, but I keep going because I have my baby to care for and my husband and my mom are doing so much for me.
To any new mum going through a difficult time, please know that you’re not alone. It’s okay to ask for help, it’s okay to not be okay, and your mental health matters too.

I am 18 months postpartum and I am having an amazing motherhood journey since becoming a mom. After having baby, I thought I was the strongest person in this entire universe. I was like if I can survive this I can survive anything. But there were people who judged my baby when I was freshly postpartum and that kept on continuing. I was minding my own business raising my tiny human but that person was after me draining my energy. I reached at a point where I was like that’s enough. I chose myself as my mental health was more important for me to raise my little human. Be selfish. Choose yourself for your baby. ❤️❤️
