The hospital failed her. She was having SI and HI should have been minimum 72 hr hold, and med stabilization. She obvi should have been evaluated for postpartum

The fact that women us postpartum as an excuse to harm their children is truly not ok. Idc what people are saying she could have hurt herself you see how she didn't do that but kid is gone. No kid asks to be here. The fact that people are making excuses for means we are truly failing in society.

she told them she was having a mental breakdown, but yet they left the kids there with her so I blame the system because she told them she might do something to the kids.. Poor baby

Why would they release this girl after specially hearing that she was a danger to her own kids. Kids should have been placed in Cps custody immediately!! And she should have been sent somewhere to get some help!!

In North Carolina if a parent is su icidal they remove the children automatically. Cause this has happened before. We need universal healthcare so people can get mental health.

I remember this case she had admitted herself in the hospital she said to not leave me alone with a child, but the hospital released her and they gave her back her baby

Her mental health was not taken into consideration, but this is what they do. They never help some people postpartum are harsh and more terrible than others. Some people can fight and some people can’t I’m sorry, but I wish they would have helped her instead of letting her leave in two days
