I love paying for things like entry fees before we go. Then when we get there there's no having to decide if we think we can afford it, we've already paid! It feels free!

When you get there just don’t think about the exchange rate . Just say 7 pound is $7.00 otherwise you won’t want to buy anything or eat 😂

Train transport with a baby is actually amazing… we did it in China with a 8 month old. When we did travel with him we got a lot less done than a pre baby trip

How did you purchase the Liverpool tickets? It’s also my partners dream while we are in the UK to go to a football game but have heard it’s super difficult to score tickets 😅

I'm at 31k and not left aus yet either 😅, that's for a family of 5 for 5 weeks going to 5 countries over Christmas! The exchange rate is not kind hey 🫠 it'll be worth it though!! 🥰 Travelling with babies on trains in Europe is arguably easier than flying with them! I'd take a 6 month old over a threenager any day!! 🤣

I did a ghost tour when I was in York a decade ago and loved it! The tour guide was brilliant, I’m sure yours will be great too 😊

Highly recommend using a eurail pass instead of pre booking trains. If you miss a train it’s zero stress and no extra cost to book again

What do you use to plan your transport/car/train journey route?! I’m trying to plan a Europe trip with routes but to finalise a route is hard

We’re doing 5 weeks in Europe with a 4 month old and I did a 75 page PowerPoint presentation for my parents and husband on our itinerary 😂 I’m scared to add up how much we have spent so far 😳

We are doing 4 weeks with our then 2 year old in December/January this year and have spent $26k so far! Lots of train travel, but we are skiing for 7 of those days. Budgeting 7000 euro (11k AUD) for just spending money for those 4 weeks - just restaurants and local transport. My husband saw my spreadsheet for the first time the other day and was shocked with the detail I have gone to to budget and plan this thing 😂

we went to Paris Disney last October. It's amazing. highly recommend paying extra for the fast passes otherwise every que is about 1 to 2 hours rather than 10 minutes!

Wish I could save enough to do this! Paying in advance is smart because you can pay as you go as you receive your payslips each fortnight

$330 is very much average especially in Australia for a decent hotel room and I believe in Europe that price range I assume you have really nice accom for that price range
