I dont understand why Joshua entertains this behavior. Just give her a couple minutes for a picture and hello and simply walk away and if shes persistent, just ignore her and go to other guest or go to a coordinator and have them talk to her.

I’m gonna say this for the second time I agree Disney need to take more steps to keep their characters safe. I understand that people may have their additional needs and she is on the autism spectrum and yes Disney have banned her but then what’s this gonna do on her Mental Health has anybody thought of that but at the same time I’m glad that Joshua feels a bit more safer now.

Autism should not be used as an excuse to ignore rules, boundaries, or the safety of others. Autistic individuals can learn and grow with the right support, patience, and high expectations. I see this progress every day in my students, especially when we focus on practical skills and meet them where they are. Autism does not excuse harmful behavior, but autistic individuals still deserve understanding, support, and opportunities to succeed. We should not underestimate them or lower expectations because of a diagnosis. Support, teach, challenge, and believe in their potential.
