There have been difficult days, strong urges, setbacks in other areas of my life, and moments when going back to the old life felt tempting. But I kept choosing recovery. Two years ago, I could not fully imagine what life without gambling would look like. Today, I can look back and see how much has changed. I have learned that recovery is not just about stopping gambling. It is about rebuilding your thinking, your character, your relationships, your finances, and your relationship with yourself.
