So when my then-boyfriend (now husband) was in the army, he was sent to Indonesia for 3 weeks and they were allowed to only use a shared phone in the platoon to communicate with anyone back home. My husband hogged the phone the whole three weeks because the other guys were happy to not talk to their girlfriends for the three weeks until they were back. It was very sad but I was glad that I would get to talk to him for a minimum of 30 minutes when they had free time.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years, and there genuinely hasn’t been a single day where we haven’t texted each other 🥹 Even if we’re super busy, we’ll at least send a good morning or good night message. There have also been times where we haven’t spoken all day, but I’d stay up really late just to talk to him, even if it meant getting less sleep. Love really is such an amazing thing. ❤️
