That's very true. People back home everyone who messages or calls just asks for money as if we're growing money in our gardens. There are things we people can't even afford here yet people back home borrow money just to enjoy a good luxurious life there.

As a fellow NHS worker this is so true but also add on the ungrateful people abuse you all day calling you rubbish and can't do your job. We spend our day carrying for strangers and get little in return

Well tbh this is the exactly situation here in Bulgaria. Yesterday I’ve paid 10€ for cheap tomato sauce cheap salami and cheese which was on offer. The bad thing is basic salary is with 3 numbers and at least in UK you get 13 £ per hour or at least this is what I remember…..
