I don't think it's necessarily about insecurity; I think it's about respect. Being around naked men or women can make some people uncomfortable, and that's completely valid. You should be able to tell your partner how you feel and ask them to respect that boundary. If they dismiss your feelings, call you insecure, or refuse to respect your boundaries, then maybe they're not the right person for you. They can find someone who doesn't mind situations like that, and you can find someone who respects what makes you comfortable. It's not the end of the world.
