Regarding the fourth point of this video: I honestly didn't think anyone needed to explain this, but apparently the dim-witted Johnlock fans still need it. John found out that Sherlock had been having an affair with Irene all this time, whom John thought was dead. John instantly realizes that Sherlock himself saved her from Moriarty. This obviously means that Sherlock is not forced to do anything here. He took this huge risk to save her, even though he could have done nothing. People in the comments are so funny when they say, "If Irene were a man and Sherlock a woman, the scene of their first meeting would be treated completely differently. "Uh, yeah? Irene is a thin woman 160 cm tall, and Sherlock is a man 183 cm tall, and in good physical shape. Irene couldn't have done anything to him that Sherlock didn't want her to do. That's the point. And, the icing on the cake — in the last episode, Evr asks Sherlock to play IT to her, after which he plays Irene's Theme. Evr then adds, "Oh, you had sex, I heard."

i am a little late to the post but oh how i agree with you here,this situation is def not discussed enough! irene behavior was disgusting towards sherlock during that episode and in general her obsession (almost stalking i’d say) was sickening, but lots defend her cause she’s a woman, if it was sherlock’s behavior it would be highly critiqued. And john also is in the wrong exactly how you showed here, sherlock said multiple times throughout the episodes that he was not looking for a romantic interest AT ALL, as he couldn’t physically stand a romantic relationship, and john attacked him out of jealousy and anger not considering what that woman might have caused in sherlock, even if he didn’t show it and kept it for himself (as he always does with emotions btw). Sorry for the long comment but this is one of the best videos i’ve seen and the topic is not discussed enough in the fandom😭😭

I always found what Irene did to sherlock weird. I actually hate her. if she was a man and sherlock was a woman the fan base would have reacted so differently. it shows how sexual harassment against men is often overlooked. :(

This might be weird of me but thank you for mentioning sexual harassment... i was harassed for a week by someone who i thought was my friend but it was terrifying to me and still haunts me years later, the only way i've been able to recognise it as a trauma is going to the extreme that if he got me alone he would have r*ped me, that it was his plan, he was trying to groom me. Everyone says SA is awful but s'harassment seems to either get glossed over, ignored, or even be the but of a joke... so thank you <3
