Oh Asti, this reached the wrong audience. Paksiw is an integral seafood dish to common Filipino households. Yes you cook with the bones. Yes you remove it while you eat. Yes it's annoying at times but you really don't notice it if you're used to it. Yes you can cook this boneless. "Paksiw" is more like a cooking method so you can use lechon (roasted pig), fish of any edible kind, etc. Disgusting? Look away and scroll 😬 It's a cultural dish rooted in traditional preservation methods using vinegar to prolong food shelf life when refrigerators are expensive or not available, and resourcefulness of people back in the day.

As Russian, I actually already tasted paksiw when I was in Philippines with my bestfriend and it actually tasted so good and I don't understand the comments choosing junk food over a delicious meal that's actually low calorie😔

This is a normal food in the Philippines. And yes this clean, you won't be poisoned . Some of you need to touch some grass commenting on others people food. It is clearly seasoned and cook. You might not like it but commenting nasty things is just so low of some of you. This food may not be normal to you ( understandably since it wasn't introduced or you haven't it ) but this is very normal to us Filipinos.

for Anyone's wondering it's called "Paksiw" a Filipino dish, the word means to simmer meat or seafood in vinegar, garlic, ginger and other spices. DON'T judge it if you never have one, it's delicious.
