I used to be this child gore we will meet in university, guess what we did but opportunities after graduation are way different. I hold an NQF8 in Acc but I keep failing interviews because of lack of confidence, language?.Bathong being able to speak proper English counts 😭that’s my 2cents . Mara now Iam making sure that my kids go to the best schools.

I struggled 🥺🥺. I couldn't even use Laptop for my first year. I repeated clothes and I struggled articulating myself because I did a module with learners coming from Good school who were privileged.

Mind you IEB syllabus coaches for psychometric tests, and they learn to prepare(slides) and present using the latest tech at primary . They use a Chromebook laptop in class at primary .already equipped for the business world at that age….

I remember touching a computer for the first time and not even knowing how to switch it on 😭. University, Cabanga! 😂 It’s honestly been such a journey, I tell you.

I had a computer programming module and they all knew how to code.in mathematics some of the concepts were revision for them, thina we had to start from the bottom. That’s when you realised that your parents were playing games while others were locked in. There’s this other one that drove my dream car in first year( bmw x3 m40i)😭

Forget University, kuyafiwa there by Teams meetings and conferences… the gap is very clear!! Smart people can’t show case their work coz of articulation… if Id go back I’d definitely choose Nton nton college instead of Nton nton SSS 😭😭😭…

If you did the meeting at varsity, you will never utter those words for your own child. Your classmates in CS will tell U about this module they did in Grade 10 and wena u scratching your head just to grasp the concept of the module throughout the semester 🥺
