@busybrainsnutrition_: Take it from me, a nutritionist with a busy brain who spent five years studying food at university. Dinner isn’t hard because you can’t cook. It’s hard because by 6pm your ADHD brain has spent all day filtering noise, processing sensory input, switching tasks, making decisions, and masking. Your brain is cooked, and you expect it to prepare food like Jamie Oliver. But ADHD brains need different support. Here are a few things I wish I’d known sooner: 🧠 Your evening brain needs fewer decisions, not more motivation. 📲 Saving recipes isn’t the same as having a dinner system. 🥘 The meals you repeat are often the ones that keep you fed. 🔪 Having food in the fridge doesn’t mean you’ll have the capacity to cook it. 🥪 Convenience meals can be a form of support, not failure. 🫠 Willpower disappears when you’re hungry, overloaded, and mentally done. ✅ Simple systems beat perfect meal plans every time. That’s why I made my Dinner Relief Guide. It’s a simple system to make dinner easier when your brain is done. Comment RELIEF and I’ll send you the details.
