@dr.kavita.t: Replying to @Honey it’s all about the physiology and the stimulation! Once you understand how it all works you can trial a few things to see how you can make it work better for you! #Breastfeeding #pumpingmom #ftm #newborn #baby
I’m 7 months PP & initially pumped every 3 hours over 24hrs. Now I’m at 3 pumps a day - morning, midday, evening before bed. Producing about a litre. It’s heavenly. But my goodness the road there was hard

What should I do if I pump and sometimes I don’t get nothing at all. Do I pump the full 15 minutes still? Will it still help my body produce more or no since no milk came out

I’ve just been advised to start giving my 5mo (4mo adjusted) an extra 60ml after each feed due to weight gain issues. I’d love to try and have this be breast milk if possible. However, my baby is already at the breast pretty much every 90 mins. Can I make it happen or do I need to resign myself to formula top ups?

I EBF for 2 months and then EP + 1-2 nursing sessions for almost 2 months now. I make around 31 oz and my daughter drinks 27 oz. I would like to keep the same volume of milk (pump 8 times a day at almost 4 months post partum) Am I able to cut down to 7 pumps without loosing the extra milk?

Honey :
So I missed a pump overnight 2 days in the row and my morning pump lost about an oz so I'm going back to my 3:30 am pump.

I’m EBF but wanting to have a little bit more milk as I’ll be returning to work. How long after a feed should I be pumping and for how long and how many times a day before I notice an increase? Will my baby still get what they need with the pumping before a next feed?

At 9 weeks pp I’m EP. Currently going every 3-4 hours. Would you recommend the 6 hour stretch now? Or wait? I feel my supply is regulated at this time. I consistently get 2.5-4oz per session total.

How do you recommend trialing 6hr pumping or ensuring you’re making the same amount in a 24 hour ?
