it should never be. But when I got hired on my job 30 yrs ago I was told, they had to hire so many minorities. Government job. I had more education than the majority hired. It was an insult to me.. our race should never even be in the equation. I rose above all this and went into a management position.

lol unbelievable...race should not be included in hiring...it should not even be a question on an application. You hire the best person you think for the job based on experience, skill and qualifications.

it is on almost all applications... it all depends on who is the hiring manager if ethnicity is a factor...if it was not on the application then it would not be a factor.
