If there was zero workers and there was only one worker on staff at that point, it’s just not worth going to work She has every right to be mad if I was in her place I would flip out too, and I would quit. Or management could’ve told her to like take that day off if there were no workers and this wouldn’t have happened, but it happened.

I am totally with her. I worked my first day at an ihop on father's day. worked 16 hours, turned into me being the only server on duty for 9 of those hours with 1 cook in the kitchen that didn't speak english.

when I worked an italian place its was a party of 30 and 15 other tables and other server walked out... kitchen staff spoke only Spanish so was communication issues trying to get everything straight. but I managed and quit a few days later myself.
