Maybe Nicholas and his brother were victims of a dysfunctional family. Every mother knows their child. The only reason an imposter could stay for 5 months is so people will believe your son is back, when you know otherwise. I don't think the brothers guilty, I think the brothers a victim just like Nicholas...

It breaks my heart to think that something as simple as a ride home could have saved this child’s life. I can’t help but wonder where were the parents, and why was an older sibling put in a position to make such a serious decision? As a mother, I have one rule that I make very clear to my children: Call me. No matter what time it is, no matter how far away you are, and no matter the circumstances, I will come get you. No questions asked. I would rather get a middle of the night phone call than spend the rest of my life wishing I had gotten one.
