Been there, there rn... my advice, when life gives you something to balance out, pick one...if you can't handle it. If you fear Relationships because it diminishes your drive because of complacency or that something that's just off about the chase and dreams... then pick your dreams.... But one thing about life... you can pick one or you can pick both.... because at the end of the day, if you find a relationship at the success height/ end of the journey you'll never know who's real anymore and you'll still never know how to balance a healthy relationship properly (with the struggles and all that).

I poured my heart out to you when I felt that my presence only mattered when it was connected to you. I didn’t tell you this, but it made me want to break up. I’ve ran from relationships before. It’s the avoidant attachment and anxiety of becoming the girl I was in my last relationship. I look at her as what I NEVER want to be again. You’ve had such a steady love for me that I realized I didn’t wanna sabotage another good thing. I’m just afraid of being the overly dependent girlfriend again. It’s why I prioritize both my time with you and apart from you. I want to be a person who has a personality outside of a relationship, because at one point in my life my personality was just being a girlfriend. I have so much more depth to me than just being a girlfriend. You have made being a girlfriend something amazing and enjoyable. I’m just very defensive of my individuality because I can’t be early 2020’s Kass. She had no idea who she was besides just someone’s girlfriend. Thank you for being amazing and understanding of my feelings. My life wouldn’t be the same without you. You’ve taught me so much about relationships and love in so little time.
