Reflecting on my time as a parent to older kids now, I see so much I couldn’t when I was in the thick of it. Our brains are literally designed to work & being put in front of a screen hinders that, like you wouldn’t believe. Toddlers are like sponges & more resilient that you can imagine. Give them jobs to do. Harder than you would think they would be capable of. Smart & resilient kids are built early. Believe me, they will need that now more than ever in this world

lol this is my problem I want to explain, now granted my kids are 12/12/14/18 😂. But it’s my trauma telling me I wish I would have had explanations growing up because my brain literally couldn’t comprehend. Buttttttt I’ve had to recognize they aren’t me. And yes while sometimes it’s ok to explain but simple requests don’t require explanations.
