there's a scene in Spiderman 2 after the party where peter is literally having a shitty day. when harry slaps him and mj's engagement announcement back to back. he goes to swing literally just to clear his head and his powers gives through. that scene breaks my heart because his only mental escape (therapy) is swing through the city and he can't even do that.
