For people wondering why school buses don’t have seatbelts, getting 30 probably injured and scared kids from kindergarten to 5th grade to unbuckle and leave the bus would take far too long, especially in the event of a fire

Ours do not have seat belts due to the amount of time it would take to take every single child out of the bus, time is critical when you have over 40+ kids in a bus.

And just another reason why bus drivers across this country should be paid way more money than what they are. And I don’t want anybody coming at me telling me well they only work part-time, because no they get up extremely early in the morning get ready and get on the road and pick all of our children up and keep them safe from home to school. It takes several hours in the morning and then they returned to that duty in the afternoon and get our children from school to home safely, again that takes another few hours in the afternoon! If an eight hour day is a full-time day, six hours served by a Bus Driver should be considered a full-time day and they should get paid more money than what they get paid!

thats not realistic the frame gets twisted an none of the dores are not able to open when a buss flips while turning or going down the highway

Fun fact the black lines on the bus represent something unique. Lower line represents the floor middle line represents the seat upper line represents the child I believe

we used to do this beginning of the year, not flip the bus but one day usually during the first couple weeks the bus driver would park at school after getting all of us and yell fire drill and the biggest kids had to go to very back door and get it open themselves (incase in real scenario bus driver can’t) and get all us little kids out so we didn’t have to jump. scared tf out of me during prek 😂

now we just need to make people stop when bus drivers pull over to let the kids out or in the bus. people need to realize that it's illegal to keep driving as a bus pulls over to the children out.

That's good training, but I think you guys should do some mannequins. Child size mannequins for a little extra training. Because it's a bus were to roll over the kids. And people are going to land in different ways. And they might get pinned under a seat or something.

Missed an opportunity I talk about the three black lines across the side of the bus. When upright, the bottom line is the floor, the middle is the same height as the seat bottom and the top line is where the top of the sea back is

that actually happened to my bus, and it was in the middle of winter and out bus driver never helped the kids. my brother and I were the ones making sure the kids got out.
