Some of y'all are doing too much in these comments. Getting 8th graders to just participate with this is already a win! Also, him saying "grease" as a guess definitely put "geese" into someone's mind. Love the way you handled that!

Guys… these are 8th graders… if you ever played wordle, you know that sometimes you have to put in different words to find different letters…. No matter if the it’s a known letter or not…. People need to chill

GRAVE is probably one of the worst guesses possible here. No R or A, V is an uncommon letter and E is already placed so it gives absolutely no information.
