Babe I’ve been fighting for a PCOS (now PMOS) diagnosis for 15 years and all my levels have been normal except my androgen level is 3.4. I got diagnosed in April after 15 years and they’ve put me on mounjaro, metformin & miotisinol. It’s insane how little they have awareness so I’m so pleased you’re aware of why, cause I’m still wondering why I can grow a better beard than my boyfriend x

Is your standard testosterone normal or your free testosterone? there are 2. I ask because my daughter has low SHB, high testosterone but zero hirtruism. She has other issues currently though. waiting in endocrine.

For thyroid it's probably worth having a look at TPO (thyroid peroxidase) antibodies as well! NHS generally will only look at TSH unless pushed, however high TPO suggests early stages of thyroid failing even when TSH is normal - which is often linked to pcos/pmos. Keep up what you are doing 👏

should I go to an endocrinologist or a gynecologist to get these tests done? I've been sent to the gynecologist and I've been waiting so long got the appointment but I fear I'll get sent away after waiting so much
