Cloverfield paradox made any monster film into a Cloverfield film. when the particle accelerator was used in paradox other monsters were sent to other universes. in this film it's the entire oak Street thats transported to dinosaur time.

Also when they were running to the house after the dad was attacked you can see them running from the dinosaur at the hill my theory is that it was them running from the dinosaurs as they were running to the house if that makes sense
