Not Isreal, but in season 1 when Dean takes Rory to the salvage yard to pick up the car he fixes for her, Rory says it looks like they're in Beirut twice. That always bothered me because Beirut is a beautiful metropolitan city and she's basically calling it, and by extension, Lebanon a junk yard
