The amount of people in the comment section going out of their way to say “it goes both ways” or “I do all of this and he still sucks” is insane. He isn’t saying do all this and tolerate your man being a terrible partner. This is simply about looking inward, seeing if there are things you can focus on to improve your relationship because the only person who can change things is you. If you do this and he’s still a bad dude, obviously leave. The point is having the humility to check your own accountability. Critical thinking is non existent these days.
