yes! one night i tried to open my car and the key wasn’t connecting, luckily it died at my house so i was stranded haha. $160 for a new battery and pretty easy to change

the tesla app notified me to change it when it was going bad. it wasn't expensive, like 100-200.

I didn’t get a notification I just randomly woke up one morning and car was dead and wouldn’t unlock. Closest Tesla service center was 30 mins away so I had to get a more expensive battery from Advance ($300) but swapped it myself was super easy.

That 12 V battery if it’s gotta be monitored that closely, it should have its own gauge where you can see it quickly

I was left stranded!!!!! Car completely dead off. No warning at alll, paid $180 n thankfully they did mobile service and came to me. Otherwise id have to tow and go to tesla service.

I got notified thru tesla app. it will just use your HV battery till you change it. and its like $200 for them to come to you to change it, or $150 if you pick up
