or maybe it’s the same process we do with our parents. its a defensive mechanism, called by freud “repression”, we forget negative and hurting things our parents did to us as children. for growing up we have to forget this thing because we can’t believe that our parents are bad people so we forget. and later, in our life, we always see people for who they not are. everything has a reason in our childhood, only remembering our childhood memories we can better❤️‍🩹
