There's also the gaming laptop people who just want to have the freedom to take your games anywhere in the house. I can go outside and play Skyrim if I want while also having enough screen to use it as a traditional computer if needed.

I usually set my laptop up on the dining table with a mouse and second monitor that I also use when DMing. Honestly my favorite thing about the laptop is being able to switch from that to setting up in my office or just plugging it into the TV and playing with a controller. Super versatile.

Guilty first type lol. Got my Alienware area 51 18 (2025) hooked up to my samsung neo g9 49 inch as my main work/game display and odyssey ark 55 inch for the tv/heavy game display

I have an old Acer laptop on a laptop stand thing with fans, and a mouse. It's old enough to feel like it's from hell if I don't have the fans on while I'm playing tf2 or something

tuf f17 had it since 2021, had to change out the cpu twice, upgraded the ram from 8 to 16, added a 1 tb storage, clean it out myself, only connected to a second monitor cus I need multitask and switching back and forth is a hassle
