@tylerpath: If you tend to feel in your biceps when you're doing pull-ups it': likely due to your arm path. Here are two things that should greatly help minimize this: 1) If you're pulling the shoulder width, you wanna make sure that you're pulling with your elbows in front of your body in a sagittal plane, versus allowing the elbows to flare. This is by far the most common mistake with a shoulder width pull up. 2) Instead of taking a shoulder with grip, you could take a wider grip so that you pull closer to the scapular plane.
