I WILL STILL PRAISE HIM. EVEN WITH A BROKEN HEART. ❤️‍🩹 I fell in love with Jesus while watching another relationship I desperately wanted slip through my fingers. And I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt. I prayed. I fought. I hoped. I imagined a future that I now have to learn how to live without. And somewhere, someone is asking, “If God loves you, why didn’t He make it work?” But here’s the question that brought me to my knees. Do I love Jesus for who He is, or for what I expect Him to do for me? Because if my faith only survives when my prayers are answered the way I want, is that love? Or have I turned my Savior into someone I only call when I need something? That’s not a relationship. That’s a transaction. And Jesus deserves more than the leftovers of my gratitude when life goes my way. See, love doesn’t mean someone makes every painful thing disappear. Sometimes love simply means someone stays beside you while you’re falling apart. A marriage doesn’t promise a life without suffering. It promises someone to walk through suffering with. And Jesus never promised me an easy life. He promised His presence in a broken one. I’ve learned you can love someone and still let them go. You can be grateful for memories that now bring tears. You can thank God for a chapter while grieving the ending you never wanted. And you can fall to your knees without falling away from your faith. Maybe you’re reading this with tears in your eyes. Maybe you’re begging God to restore something that’s already gone. Please hear me. An unanswered prayer doesn’t mean an absent Savior. Jesus is still with you in that empty room. In that sleepless night. In the silence after the goodbye. And sometimes the greatest act of worship isn’t raising your hands when everything is beautiful. It’s raising trembling hands when everything is broken. Habakkuk 3:18 says, “Yet I will rejoice in the LORD.” YET. Even now. Even hurting. Even without the answer I wanted. I will not make my love for Jesus conditional upon my circumstances. If He restores it, I’ll praise Him. If He doesn’t, I’ll praise Him. If all I have left is a broken heart and enough breath to whisper His name… I WILL STILL PRAISE HIM. #JesusChrist #FaithThroughTheStorm #RadicalMovement
