Rinse, spray soap, rinse, spray soap again, clean, rinse. Always do a rinse, soap, rinse first to get all loose dirt off before doing any kind of scrubbing.

Used to be an assistant site leader at a Tidal Wave Auto Spa, 90% of those brushes for prepping or self washes are made of pig hairs and don’t cause damage to your car unless made of another material. Sometimes debris can caught in the bristles and it’s always best to play it safe and pressure wash the brush prior to using it. Never had I scratched my own car nor a customers vehicle with any of these brushes ever. As always though, it’s cheaper and more full proof to clean your car at home.
